John Sapp is the chief revenue officer at Drake Software, helping shape the future and growth of one of the largest professional tax software companies in the nation. He has served in key roles at Drake Software since 1995, including chief financial officer and vice president of the Sales, Marketing, and Education divisions.

John serves on the board of directors for the Council for Electronic Revenue Communication Advancement (CERCA) and was one of the founding leaders of the IRS Security Summit. He was the first Chair of ETAAC when the IRS expanded the charter to give recommendations on proper security measures, expanding their reach to include ID theft and tax refund fraud. He has been a certified public accountant since 1987, earning considerable experience in public and private accounting for the technology industry.
